In the world of service providers, particularly among minority founders, the challenges are often the same. Talented hairstylists, estheticians, and nail technicians pour into their craft, yet struggle with inconsistent income, limited structure, and the weight of doing everything on their own.
This is something Dakota understood early. Growing up around service providers navigating these realities, she saw firsthand what it meant to have talent without the support needed to scale. Later, through a decade in luxury hospitality, she experienced the other side: how intentional structure, brand positioning, and experience design create loyalty, trust, and pricing power.
With a background in Mass Communications and early training through the Walt Disney World College Program, Dakota developed a deep understanding of storytelling, perception, and how brands take shape.
Made Säcred was built at the intersection of these experiences. It exists to support service-based founders in building brands that are not only elevated, but structured to last.
